I went with my niece whom is 18 , my wife and my 2 year old little girl. We got a junior sweet with a garden view. Positives: Well what can I say. Simply fantastic hotel from start to finish. Food was sensational ( I have high standards) how anyone can question it is beyond me. Top quality ingredients, nothing feels cheap! Great daily variety with some nice things that remain throughout which I happily ate daily. The evening shows in the amphitheater were spectacular, very talented performers on show here, you feel like they dedicate their lives to their work. Superb. Evening singers in the bar were also very good. Our 2 year old Sophia danced the night away every evening and we just couldn’t persuade her to go to bed. Haha. Rooms were spacious . Yes the beds are a tad hard but I guess some like that !! Willy Wonka is a very vibrant young fella , does his job really well. Every night after the show at the amphitheater he would take our little girls pram and wheel it to the dance floor for us, take her out the pram and place her on the dance floor , she loved it. The Italian and Turkish a la cart restaurants are literally faultless. Some excellent ingredients used. These places are a must visit. The gym is excellent apart from it needs a squat rack and some heavier dumbbells, but it largely does the job. Nice mixture of swimming pools , some for swimming and some nice spots for the little ones. The service throughout was impeccable! Excellent staff. We found ourselves tipping them quite a lot ( I don’t think others were from what I saw ) so don’t feel any pressure to do so , but we feel like the ones we encountered deserved it. Some don’t speak English, but enough of them do to get by. Various holiday makers from various countries visit and I think they have staff which cater for a lot of languages so I wouldn’t expect them to all speak English. Some reviews mention this like English is the only language in the world you should speak. Kind of ignorant to expect that if you ask me! The beach was nice and close to the bar! My wife and niece had what they described as “the best massage they’ve ever had” from the spa and at a fair price aswell. Things to improve: Not much, if I’m super super nit picky I would say : There’s no ice cream , just ice lollies / cream on a stick. It feels a bit wrong going on holiday and not enjoying ice cream on a cone or out of a cup !! Don’t go running out on the street too far as I made this mistake and was met by 3 wild dogs which scared me out of my wits and had it not been for personal knowledge of how to react in these situations I feel like I would have been attacked. Hardly the hotels fault as I was about 5k from the hotel in the middle of nowhere when this happened , just be warned if your a holiday runner like me! Run down the beach between hotels instead, it’s tough but nice and SAFE!! Whilst it’s very generous portions of alcohol within the drinks, sometimes it’s too much and you can’t enjoy the taste of your favourite drink as much. Be sure to tell the bar staff to cut the level of alcohol in the drink a tad if you want . I’m surprised there were not people stumbling around all over the place, but there weren’t , fellow guests were polite throughout and responsible ! The one major disappointment we had is we like to participate in water sports on holiday however you simply can’t do that here, the prices are extortionate. Something silly like £70 for 10 mins on a jet ski. That means 30 mins is £200. Not surprisingly no one was participating and we saw a lot of people wander over there only to wander back just like we did ! Summary: A wonderful hotel, a great location . Most definitely a recommendation from us and hopefully we will be back one day!! Thanks Xanadu for your hospitality, service and for making my little girls first holiday one to remember for us all !!
