You've decided this hassle-free approach is for you, so how to you decide where to go?  With a broad selection of all-inclusive accommodation in most places around the world, the best approach is to decide what you want from the destination and choose that first, to narrow down your hotel search to a specific locale.

For quick and easy travel at both ends of your trip, the short haul big-hitters of Greece and Turkey are both under 4 hours flight from the UK.  Brit-fave Spain is less than 3 hours each way and so are the Balearic Islands like Ibiza and Majorca, whereas the Canaries like Tenerife are a little over 4 hours.

'Short-haul' is often considered to be any flight up to 6 hours, and 'long-haul' anything more than that, although flights between 4 and 8 hours are really only 'mid-haul' to the well travelled.

Some of the very best all-inclusive holidays are firmly in the long haul category, where it's well worth the longer flights to enjoy the picture-perfect paradise of an inclusive Caribbean or Indian Ocean experience.  It costs a little more and it takes slightly longer but, when you're there, these places really are something very special.  Year-round perfect temperatures that are rarely too hot or too cold, warm and gentle oceans and lagoons, and palm-fringed powdery beaches dotted with the coolest bars and seafood restaurants. Top picks for long-haul include Barbados and Mauritius.
