Crystal Admiral Resort Suites & Spa

Me and my family (husband, 7 year old and 4 year old) visited this hotel (booked via On the Beach) during the October half term. We paid for a private taxi to collect us and take us back from Antalya airport and take us to the hotel. It was the most terrifying experience of my life. He drove incredibly fast and it was around 1 hour. I full on cried and asked him to slow down which he laughed at. The private taxis are vans converted. I didnt feel safe at all. Longest hour of my life! Health and safety does not seem to be a thing here. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a gentleman who took our bags. We checked in and then were taking to our room. The room was very outdated, bathroom needed a lot of work ( I think they used polyfiller instead of grout) and there was only one double and one single bed (for 2 adults and 2 children). Not what we expected for a 5 star hotel. We asked at reception for another bed where we were informed it was normal to only have 2 beds and we should have requested this on booking. The gentleman who took our bags up stepped in and said dont worry they will sort. The hotel itself has everything you need. Water park, shops, bakery, bars, children's clubs, park, own private beach but if you like to go for a walk to explore you cannot leave the resort without getting a taxi or bus. We left one day to go into the local town and we had to catch a bus on a motorway. No word of a lie it stopped on a motorway where had to run across two lanes with our children to catch! The kids had to sit on the floor of the middle of the bus. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. absolutely terrifying. The food is a typical all inclusive. Not really catered for English tourist. Lot of other nationalities. We also visited the spa which was a fun experience. Lovely staff at the spa too. The Turkiye weather was absoutly stunning. Could not complain and was the main reason we booked but, in all honestly, we wouldnt go back to Turkiye again. All in all if you are after a hotel you do not want to leave and play at the pools or beach all day it is fab. So much to do and all the food, drink, bakery is included. Staff were lovely. Dont speak great English but google translate helped.

We spent a wonderful week at Crystal Admiral. After reading some of the reviews we were sceptical, but pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Don't believe all the bad reviews. PROS: Food is great, there is a main restaurant with enormous selection of food, vegan, diet food, sushi etc. There is also a bbq area outside had a selection of delicious charcoaled food every night. There is a snack bar by the pool and also a lovely large restaurant/snack bar by the sea, which had fantastic sea view. There is a wood fired Turkish Pizza place just by the main pool, also a Turkish Flat bread made to order on the right just before going to sea. Both were amazing! The pool area is very big, they have various pools with plenty of sunbeds! There is also a water park with good selection of rides. The staff were very friendly and fast, always helpful and smiling. Rooms were very clean, great shower and magnificent view of the sea from our balcony. There are so many bars serving good selection of drinks and very fast service, you never have to wait. Great cocktails, but varies from bar to bar, you have to find the one you prefer and going back there. Entertainment: There was a show on every night after dinner and some kind of entertainment or live music until about midnight, which we loved. There was a Cappadocia Night one evening, they setup small balloons with baskets you could seat in and lit up the tunnel going into entertainment area with 100's of small lights, it was beautiful. After midnight there is a nightclub open until 2am, which wasn't very busy. CONS: We could say rooms are little dated but very clean. We love Turkish holidays, they are best for value for money, great food/drink and friendly people. Definitely going back!

Honestly, this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms have mould in the shower cubicles, you can feel the spring of the bed (which eventually ends up hurting your back). The pools are cold, the staff is barely adequate, the food is average (that’s me putting it nicely) and they don’t even have black out curtains, which is I feel an absolute necessity when you’re paying this much. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at (and there has been many) that doesn’t even come with a kettle in the room. I’ve never been MORE excited to LEAVE. Absolutely shocking. STAY AWAY at ALL costs.

Family of 5 - great break for all. Food at the buffet was lovely, great Turkish meats, plenty of different salads, sides, soups and puddings. Cocktails were great, some too strong but not complaining. Plenty of food options throughout the day to keep you going. We had 5 nights 4 days, I couldn't do any longer as there isn't enough to keep you entertained for a week - i.e. sports bar, different restaurants and nowhere outside to wonder to. The beach was lovely, pebbly to get into the sea which might put some off but its so clear and warm - worth the trek. AVOID THE SPA! We signed up to the Gold Package and it ended up being a quick sale really. Its not a relaxing atmosphere, SO MANY KIDS!! They have no understanding of what a spa is, doors to the saunas and steam rooms just being left open or open/shut, open/shut. They're not quiet either and the staff just let all this happen. The Turkish bath was average, too many people coming and going and everything we had was rushed. The most annoying thing was straight after the massage, the manager tried to do a hard sale and get us to come back for another massage - when we refused and said we're leaving, he walked out - there was also no thanks given from the staff at the end - they just wanted to make sale and get as many people in as possible. Water park - always great to have, 7 rides of which 4 were good.

Week holiday with 4 adults and 4 teens Good wifi throughout the hotel including the beach!! Food good choice Fruits, salads, breads, pastry’s just but repetitive on the main meals (this is usual though) But loads of places to eat Pizzas, burgers, fish, etc jn days Cocktails arent the best but drinks (beers, wine, gin etc ok ) A la carte not the best…went the turkish- was a shame we couldnt choose just one meat and felt we wasted alot of meat due to this One thing is a big negative ! No english tea bags !! Everything BUT an English tea bag ….luckily i took my own No milk near coffee/teabag area either but again this is an english thing! We found a hoover as their was a broken cup outside the room for over 24hrs…even though the rooms had been clean so the had been able to see this…. Thin Turkish bread that was like a pancake being made infront of you near to the entrance of the beach tunnel are great- different toppings too!! Rooms are dated but clean…..we only sleep in them anyway so not big deal, only bad negative for rooms is shower gets clogged quick, after a min shower …… slides r good but not enough floaties for them too Waterpolo the lads loved ! Entertainment ok at night…..more for other nationalities, but the disco was ok All in all a good week holiday !!!
