Dominican Republic school holiday deals

Travelling over peak dates can be very busy and prices are expensive, if you can travel outside of half term holidays, we would highly recommend it. However, we know that this just is not possible for everyone so to avoid any disappointment we would suggest booking early to ensure your first-choice accommodation option, to make the most of early booking discounts and to benefit from limited child discounts. The peak tourist season for the Dominican Republic is December to February so expect higher prices, limited availability, and larger crowds during these months. Speak to one of our friendly travel experts and start planning your trip today.

La Romana, situated on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, boasts some of the country’s most beautiful beaches with tropical, turquoise seas, whiter than white beaches and lustrous palm trees. It is slightly less busy than the hot spot of Punta Cana so we would recommend staying in La Romana during school holidays and peak season to try and avoid the crowds. During your stay in La Romana top excursion highlights, we love include sightseeing in Altos de Chavon and day trips to the two nearby beautiful islands Isla Saona and Catalina Island.

Samana is a beautiful and historic town located on the northern coast of Samana Bay. Samana is renowned for its secluded beaches, coconut plantations and amazing rainforests. It is also a fantastic whale watching area as thousands of whales flock to Samana Bay each year between January to March.
