Description

Very good, with flaws

Just back from the Atrium. A great welcome and efficient check in. First evening we used the Greek al la carte restaurant. Good food, and relaxed atmosphere; slightly marred by them chasing us to our room to sign for it, with a less than pleasant attitude. Similarly one of the Maitre’d was too engrossed in arguing with a colleague to engage with us. But, on the whole the restaurant staff, pool and bar staff, and even room service were polite and pleasant. The food was good quality throughout, so good that few people seemed to take the menu option. There is a great range of cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The wine is ridiculously overpriced; I understand mark-ups on wine, but none of them were good enough for that pricing. The pool and grounds are, like the hotel, well maintained and very clean, and finding a sun bed is easy, as is ordering drinks and snacks via the Atrium application. Our room was comfortable and kept very clean, and the private pool was cleaned every day. Very comfortable sun beds! Fresh local fruit and a bottle of wine were a nice touch. We would love to return next year, but the drinks pricing would make us think twice.

Great food in great location. Tuna tatarki was fantastic. Sushi platter had great selection. Eaten here 3 times already. And will happily go back for more. Giorgos is great waiter, always there on hand to help and top up your wine glass. Brilliant

Our first time in Greece and what a beautiful holiday. The hotel is 5 stars but the staff are 10 stars. the service is outstanding. From the front door to the room to the restaurants, it is excellent, Excellent, Excellent. The staff are very helpful and always smiling. The food is amazing and plentiful. The ambience is very welcoming. Nothing is too much for them. It was my friend's birthday they made it ever so special. Each member of staff makes you feel like you are the only one and make you feel special and valued. Highly recommended for families, couples and even if you're on your own the staff will attend to all your needs and make you feel special. A special thank you to Anna Maria who took care of us and made sure our stay was extra special. No matter how busy she was, she made time to come to us. Asked us how we were. Answered our queries, and greeted us with a huge friendly smile. Anna Maria you went above and beyond and we thank you. For making us feel welcome. You are a gem. Fotis (captain) was so polite and attentive, professional and nothing was too much for him. He always had a smile and greeted us warmly Katrina hostess with the most made us feel so cared for. Seeing her lovely smile when we entered the eating area was a bonus, so lovely and kind, Mixalis G the chef. What a gentleman, The food was delicious. There was a new menu every day. Mixalis came out every night to speak to us and the other guests and answered my questions regarding the ingredients Greets all the guests with a smile. Always asked how our day was. really good customer service Mixalis K was funny and efficient. Always remember our favourite drink. He made us laugh and always had a cheeky smile to, Brighten up our days. Eli Rotsy was always polite & smiling she made us both feel important and nothing was too much for her Honestly can't fault anything, well done to every member of staff, your hard work and kindness were mentioned by every guest whom we spoke to, without you guys this hotel would not be as fantastic. We will definitely be coming back . We will cherish these memories .

Wonderful! We have just spent a fabulous week here. Can't fault it! We found we had the perfect base for exploring Rhodes and a wonderful hotel that really spoils you. The staff are a credit to Atrium hotels, always cheery, friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you Atrium Platinum!

Definitely a 5 star experience. Food selection was absolutely wonderful. Real authentic Greek and international cuisine. All staff were so polite and friendly and we loved how Mr. Rodis the hotel manager who is a one of a kind person, was always around making sure everything was running smoothly. Big shout out to Julian in the bar. Always there welcoming you with a great smile. The hotel is only a 10 minute ride from the old town, very close to the beach and the sunset view from our balconies was breathtaking. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a luxurious experience in Rhodes.
