Val d'Isere Motorhome Parking - Aire de Service & Sites With Hook-Up

La Daille Aire de Service, Val d'Isere

Basic Val dIsere Aires de Service in La Daille - the car park by the funicular railway. Plans to add electricity and better water and sewage facilities where last noted in 2003 - please let us know if this is now completed. Original plan was €10 for electric hookup (rating not known). Everyone here goes to the municipal swimming pool to make use of the showers. If you have a week ski-pass, entry is free. You need to have speedo style swimwear, shorts are not allowed. It is advisable to have a portable generator as the valley bottom only gets sun for a few hours and solar power cannot be relied on here. Free ski-bus up and down valley from early morning till late evening, which can take you into VDI or further up the valley to the lifts at Le Fornet. Several supermarkets in Val & garage which also has a well stocked shop. The garage sells limited stocks of bottled gas, but not LPG. Gas and LPG in Bourg St Maurice. Not easiest place to camp - shop in Bourg St Maurice before heading up the hill.
