Kitzbühel currently lacks a full daycare service but the ski school has a list of baby sitters and a part-time nanny, Anita Halder, offers care (German spoken). The ski schools are very child-friendly taking children from age 4 upwards in to ski kindergardens with themes like 'Disneyland' and including snowmobiles well disguised as steam trains for carting the children around the slopes. The resort also has the excellent public Aquarena (see facilities) and a number of play parks for younger children.
Children will also especially enjoy the short excursion (7km /4 miles) to the Wildlife Park at neighbouring Aurach where around 200 animals live at 1100 metres above sea level.
