Childcare in Alpe d'Huez, France

Alpe d'Huez day and evening care plus snow ski schools and babysitting.

Alpe d'Huez is very child-friendly with plenty of special facilities and the many sports and leisure facilities off the slopes which children of all ages love. The resort's ski slopes are designed so that the easier slopes tend to be at the bottom of the mountain - so the most family friendly skiing is the closest at hand. Les Eterlous Children's Day-care accepts children from two and a half years. Tuition is offered, as soon as the child shows interest, in conjunction with the Ecole du Ski Français, which also begins its own courses at age four. Their two children's villages at Grandes Rousses and Bergers are equipped with figurines and private ski tows. Children who have not skied before are encouraged to win their first medal. For older children more specialised courses are available, in snowboarding and freestyle for example. The International Ski School also offers lessons from age 4 in the Marmottes Club, with children aged up to six months younger welcomed in the Baby Club. After that there is the Eagles Club then a choice of taking a Fun Course (for good skiing teenagers), joining the racing team, or trying a snowboard training course.
