Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that we have any self-catered options available in Kaprun at the moment. If you’ve been sold on Kaprun, but were interested in the budget option of a self-catered trip, don’t fear. The range of hotels here is vast, and there are a number of B&B’s available that will leave you with plenty of euro’s left over for your après. Also, despite their reputation, catered chalets are often cheaper than you think. This is especially true when you’re looking at the cost of the holiday as a whole, as the cost of self-catering, coupled with a few meals out soon adds up.
