nice location , the chalet has nice rooms - simple but charming - comfy beds - the best: straight next to the lift :-) perfect.

Nice, clean and charming ski-in ski-out chalet

Reviewed 19 Feb 2021

New shape since 2019 - comfy beds - all you need for a ski holiday right next to the slope and lift. Rooms are open and have a good size. I will come back again.

location 5/5 but very basic and tired chalet with only one family room

Reviewed 24 Jun 2014

I’d say the chalet itself is very basic and tired - it certainly seemed to be the view shared by the other people there at the same time that if we had paid the full price we’d be disappointed. St Anton isn’t exactly the cheapest of resorts and everything is expensive but as we got a discount, we got what we paid for so it wasn’t such a problem. That said, the chalet guy was amazing and we were very lucky to have such a good host – he was very personable and could cook really well.
In terms of the proximity to the nursery slope for the children, we couldn’t have asked for more. You’re also literally opposite one of the main gondolas so we could drop the kids off in the morning and go straight up – from that perspective it’s ideal.
As to whether it is a chalet to welcome families overall depends on whether you can get the family room. We were lucky to have it but it’s the only one in the building. The room had a bathtub – fine – but it didn’t have a shower screen which wasn’t ideal and there weren’t any bathmats so we had to throw towels down to stop the children from slipping.

Books out early... for good reason!

Reviewed 4 Sep 2013

One of the most popular chalets in the resort, it sleeps up to 12 people, and is literally opposite the piste and Nassereinbahn gondola. In other words, if you can secure this for you and you’re friends for sole occupancy, you’ll have the best seats in the house. For a group of friends wanting to explore the local life, you’ll be able to jump straight from the piste - off the Skipiste Stalimahder Fang24 - to the shower and back out again with ease, meaning the 450 yard walk to town through the essentially traffic-free resort centre is a doddle. With en-suite and family friendly rooms also available, it is great for all guests.
