Large, traditional French village 6km from La Clusaz with which it shares the Aravis Lift Pass. Apres ski is wide ranging with a discothèque and a large selection of eateries. The higher part of the resort is known as Chinaillon, located at 1300m and where most of the skiing starts. It is a "station" in its own right with loads of apartments and a few hotels. There are many shops and restaurants, bars and a discoteque. A bus links with the village of Le Grand Bornand. You can only ski down to Grand Bornand itself in very good snow conditions.
