In the resort La Toussuire, 17 km from the centre of Saint Jeand de Maurienne, 159 km from the centre of Lyon, directly by the skiing area. For shared use: indoor pool heated (seasonal availability: 01.Jan. - 31.Dec.). Children's pool. In the complex: reception, lounge, WiFi, sauna, fitness room, massage (extra). Steam room, hydro massage bath, hamam, lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, ski boot dryer. Bread roll service. Storeroom available. Communal covered parking (extra). Up on a plateau at 1750m and surrounded by 2000m+ peaks, La Toussuire’s not the biggest name in French skiing, but it’s spot on if you’re looking for a cheap ski holiday that doesn’t scrimp on terrain. The Front de neige area is beginner territory, with a gaggle of short green and blue runs served by drag lifts. In the blue department, Marmotte is a lovely long, winding descent from Tete de Bellard to La Toussuire that shows off the sheer beauty of the surroundings.
