Nestled in a quiet enclave of Tignes Le Lac Chalet Ambre is positioned next to Chalet Opale. Chalet Ambre sleeps up to 11 people in 4 bedrooms or it can be taken alongside Chalet Opale to create an alpine residence sleeping 21. Finished in 2014, this unique chalet is a wonderful blend of modern and contemporary furnishings with authentic alpine décor ensuring maximum relaxation and never ending luxury.
The chalet occupies an incredible position next to the Almes piste in the heart of the Espace Killy ski area, a truly enviable location. An ideal spot for ski enthusiasts who can ski back to the chalet, alternatively the piste is under a minutes’ walk from the chalet.
The chalet uses geothermal technology to assist with heating hot water and keeping the chalet warm. This makes the chalet incredibly energy efficient and reduces our carbon footprint.

Tignes is somewhere you can ski longer, higher and further than most other resorts in the Alps. Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here. Choose between 5 different villages, whether your priority is convenience, cosiness or cheap accommodation. Tignes also has one of the most famous New Year parties in the Alps.
