In all honesty the accommodation was excellent. We had really nice big rooms and everything about them was good – from the televisions to the fact that you could instantly heat the room at any time thanks to the instant fires (just press a button and on it comes). The shower facilities were great. The food was good and everyone at the restaurant and bar was incredibly nice. The facilities were good too - they gave us use of a small but well equipped gym and the outside hot tub was brilliant. Although it’s in the middle of nowhere we didn’t feel stranded with the bar and restaurant, and the pub over the road was always open.

I think it’s one of the nicer hotels it Banff. The hotel sits mid mountain rather than right in the town.
I would recommend the west wing which is the new section and has newer furnishings and is more quieter out there. You can ski almost to the back door to the west wing because of the way it is situated.
For more space my room advice is to pick the Loft rooms which have a murphy bed which folds out from the wall and an upstairs mezzanine which gives a bit more space.
