1 review of Sunotel Apartments, Les Carroz in Les Carroz, France.

On the corner of the place de l’Ambiance, the main square and heart of Carroz, the location of the budget Sunotel couldn’t get much better. With the bulk of the resort’s restaurants and shops just a hop and a skip away, the stop for the free bus to the ski lifts right at the corner and a ski school assembly point just downstairs, the apartments are the height of convenience, especially if you have kids in tow.
This isn't luxury accommodation but if you want to ski cheap, the residence is known as some of the most economic accommodation you’ll find in Carroz and prices cover bed linen and local taxes. The majority of its apartments have even been recently renovated and all come fully equipped with a bath or shower room, WC and kitchenette (inc. fridge, hot plates, and oven or microwave), so guests can rustle up omelettes with ingredients from the weekly market below. A typical 'type C' Studio here sleeps 2 to 4 and consists of a living area with double sofa bed and bunk beds in the entrance hallway.
My advice is that you'll want to be on the north side of the hotel, where rooms look out onto the festivities of the square, all lit up and filled with revellers during Christmas and New Year (my favourite times to be in Les Carroz). While, if it’s quiet you’re after, the rooms to the rear are the most peaceful and look out onto some beautiful mountain vistas.
