The apartment was really good. It’s like a complex so they have the reception and then around that different blocks, about 4 or 5. We were quite lucky as in some of the blocks you have to walk a little distance to get to the pool but ours was right next door.
Inside the apartment, the beds were fine, we had two people in the main bedroom and one in the lounge area. We did a bit of a mix between cooking and eating out. You literally walk to the end of the road, probably a five minute walk and there’s a small shop. On the other side of Samoens there’s a massive supermarket, about 20-25 minutes to walk to (or no distance at all if you have a car).
The only thing with accommodation is that it took us by surprise that we had to pay a £300 deposit – we cleaned up so we could take it back. Also the swimming pool was really cold, this didn’t stop us using it though and it did heat up during the week, it’s a nice one, all wooded with a sauna you could use as well.
The free bus was literally outside the hotel to take you right to the bubble.
