1 review of Hotel Llac Negre in Pas De La Casa, Andorra.
Reviewed 2 May 2014
I’ve stayed in the Llac Negre twice, and if I was staying in Pas again it would be the first place I’d go to for accommodation. The hotel is basic but comfortable, quite rustic with a lot of rooms being wood-lined.
It’s classified as 2 star and that's definitely right in terms of the facilities. Both times I’ve been, it’s been run by an Aussie guy called Pat, and if he’s still there I’d definitely recommend staying there. The food has always been really good, in the morning you have 3 options for dinner and you always choose the food that way so that no time is wasted. It’s all fairly traditional British food, a lot like you have at home (fish and chips, pie and mash, curry, lasagne...).
Everyone is very friendly - it’s not a massive hotel which means you get to chat with the other guests and the waiters and waitresses are locals and have always been really nice. The hotel has it’s own little bar where they usually do things like music nights. It only takes a short walk to get down to the start of the lift area (about 2-3 minutes). I’d definitely recommend hiring a locker at the bottom of the lifts so you don’t have to carry your ski stuff around.
This is basically a place to relax and sleep and in terms of what the holiday costs, it’s perfect.
