1 review of Hotel Carlina (1850) in Courchevel, France.

We liked the hotel. Location is ski in, ski out, so we were straight out on the slopes with no problem at all.
The staff were generally nice, we had no problems there, though there were a couple of issues: From the food point of view, they could cater a bit better for kids – it was a good restaurant with good food, but the meals were a bit rich for kids. On New Year ’s Eve they had a 200 euro supplement for dinner, so we didn’t bother with that!
It was Russian Christmas on the 6th January and because the hotel is quite top end, it was very busy that week. We came down for a drink one evening and the whole bar had been reserved for the Russians – no space had been put aside for other guests which would have been nice (we did manage to sneak down later on and get a place). I think it’s just that time of year, it would have been less busy later in the month.
Our room was a twin with another bed put in to fit the 3 of us, it would have been ok with 2 but was a wee bit cramped for us.
