I visited here in 2014 and the chalet is in a great location. You can ski in/ski out with good snow cover, but it's also conveniently close to the bucket lift, just 2-3 minutes walk downhill. This lift has a mid station meaning you can access the main town or carry on to the pistes really easily. The chalet is in the "old town" part of Alpe d'Huez which is a little quieter, but it's only a 5-10 minute walk to the bars and livelier areas. The old town also has a nice selection of restaurants (Le Roy Ladre is an amazing pizzaria) and a couple of bars. It's a lovely, traditional chalet with a few modern touches and there is a good sized hot tub and a sauna. The rooms are a decent size and all are en-suite, there are a couple of family bunk rooms also. The food was really good quality with lots of variety and there was free flowing wine available during dinner, what more could you want?!

Ski to within a few hundred yards of the chalet doorstep and stay close enough to the action for great après ski but far enough out of the very centre to avoid the busiest and less quiet areas. If you’re taking more than 12 SNO mates ask about booking with adjoining Chalet Christian for twice the space and twice the fun! Super-efficient hosts and a snug atmos make this a highly recommended holiday home from home.
