Nonnie's cakes were AMAZING

Great week at the Carambole, our chalet maid Nonnie was awesome and she made the most amazing cakes! The lift was a bit slow, but that’s the only thing I can think of that could be better. Overall I would recommend staying here!

Super close to the lift & a nice ambiance

Luxury, location and magnificent views, there is not much to fault when the chalet hosts bring their A-game and the wine is flowing. It's a short five minute walk from the resort centre, and the bus stop for easy access is a matter of feet away from your front door. Crucially, at less than 100ft from the lifts, you're often able to ski right back to within a snowball's throw of your room. Local bars, shops, and ski hire are also within a whisker. All in all this is a great example and a contributing factor to our guests choosing to come to Val Thorens again and again.
