3 reviews of Chalet Annalise in Alpe d'Huez, France.

An absolutely brilliant time in Chalet Annalise. The hosts and food were amazing, we had loads of different dishes for dinner and the desserts were mind-blowing! Breakfasts had a good variety too. The Annalise is an intimate, cosy chalet that felt homely and private. Its location was perfectly good for us as we could ski back and down to the lifts. It was quite icy though, so I don’t think a complete beginner could have done it.

The chalet was fine, it was all clean and we had a good host.
I was here with 5 mates and we booked 3 of the rooms – it’s meant for 8 but no one booked the other room so we had it to ourselves! Our room was meant for 4 people, two adults and then two children in the bunk beds. It was alright for 2 of us but I don’t know if it would be comfortable for 4...
They had catered for 8 people so we had extra food which was good. They did a cooked breakfast - the works - and the food in the evening was good.
The Annalise has a good location as you can pretty much ski in and ski out (if they’ve packed the snow properly). It’s only 5 minutes to the Spar and the town centre.

You can’t get much better location in central Alpe d’Huez than the Annalise. The official description boasts of unique views which are looking across the ski resort, from out of the windows in the lounge area, and we have to agree that it’s a real bonus to wake up to this view before breakfast. Our clients love the free wifi and sauna, so do check its available before you book, as chalet specs do change. In short, this property is well located and well equipped - close to the action (bars and shops are close by) and equally cosy if you prefer nights in after a hard day on the hill.
