The chalet felt a bit too personal for us. Unfortunately our chalet host was ill for the week we were there, but he did ok. The food was average, but as I say, our chalet host was ill that week, so I think it would have been better for the group staying after us.
The chalet was a bit of a walk, I’d say about 300-400m, to the slopes. If the snow was good, I reckon you could ski to within 50m… At the beginning of the week we could ski close to the chalet, but the snow wasn’t very good by the end of the week.
The nearest shop was within 30 or 40m and there was a bar downstairs. The main part of the town was a fair walk away.
The bedroom was small; you could just about walk around the beds. The bathrooms were really small.

The place itself was really good – there was a big living area for us all to chill out in and the chalet was a nice size to have to ourselves as a group. It might be a bit weird for a chalet share though as it’s very close quarters and you’re all in amongst each other.
The chalet maid Kitty was really good and the food was alright. It wasn’t her fault but the whole thing was a bit of a shambles as the chalet people had to go all over the place to find the stuff they needed to cook - we felt sorry for them because the management had stitched them up a bit. We also found ourselves running round trying to find a corkscrew as there seemed to be only one corkscrew between 3 chalets (ended up having to youtube how to open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew – a screw seemed to do the trick!).
The bedrooms were fine, the smaller rooms were good as they had bigger wardrobes whereas our room which was an en-suite just had a cupboard.
The little pool area was good, there were kids there around 5-6pm but when we went down at 7ish before dinner we had it to ourselves. The sauna was nice but small, only fitting about 4 people.
It’s pretty much ski in but not ski out, there is a road you could ski down but if you’ve got your own skis you wouldn’t want to as you’d ruin them! It’s quite a hard one to get back to the chalet as there are buildings on either side of it so even on a powder day it’s really icy.
There were 2 bars right next to the chalet in some hotels but the main area is a bit of a trek. It took us about 15 minutes and was downhill so everyone was always sliding about, and then you have to get back up, so it would be tricky for older people or young children.
