With North facing slopes that preserve the snow late in the season; altitudes of over 2000m and snow cannons covering 90% of runs, the snow shouldn’t be too bad this Easter. 157km of blue and red terrain makes this resort incredible for beginner and intermediate skiers and boarders and the scenery over the Rasciesa, Seceda, Col de Mesdí, Alpe di Siusi and Piz mountains as you ski is usually amazing in the clear spring skies.

The local ski and snowboard instructors usually keep beginners close to the town centre at the beginning of the week, taking you up and down the beginner slopes with magic carpets before an enchanting ride up the mountains later on. Snow parks and steeper, woodland terrain should keep more experienced skiers and boarders more than entertained.

If the Italian sunshine is just too warm to keep all the pistes open, you won’t be at a loss of things to do – the Alpine Guides lead safe mountain walks, to discover an altogether different wonder in amongst the trees and slopes at spring time. Indoor tennis courts, health and wellness centres and swimming pools will have you feeling all fresh and pampered and ready to embrace the warming weather. If you just want to settle back with some tasty food, Bardonecchia's creperie does the best pancakes, with the added option of gelato for the best of both worlds!
