This small, unspoilt town is a beautiful destination for a white Christmas. With oodles of charm and a warm, festive spirit you’ll see pretty decorations scattered around and bars filled with skiers warming themselves on grolla goblets filled with a blend grappa and coffee. The traditional Hotel Grohmann is wonderful for a winter retreat and has a convenient situation right next to the main cable car. For a really festive getaway, we love the elegant Parc Hotel Diamant which has a fairy-tale setting surrounded by snow-capped pines, only a few minutes from the village centre and nearest lift.

Half-board options are available, making dining plans a breeze and most hotels put on gala dinners for the special occasion.

Many restaurants will have festive menus so you’ll be able to feast and indulge in true Christmas spirit. This is a wonderful place for a family Christmas on the slopes with the excellent Campitello ski school. There are two nursery slopes, Campo Scuola da Faè and the Col de Lin, which is a bit longer as well as gentle beginner runs and a variety of red terrain higher on the Col Rodella.
