Les Menuires Easter holidays

The slopes are super sunny at Easter for a skiing holiday in glorious surroundings. At high altitudes of up to 2850m in the Les Menuires area and 411 snow cannons providing extra cover the snow should be in very good stead. Wake up early for the best conditions before things warm up in the afternoon. For the best conditions in the afternoon, head for the more shaded north facing slopes on the other side of the valley down from the Pointe de la Masse. You can always ski your way over to the snow-sure altitudes of Val Thorens, which is most likely to have the very best conditions as the highest glacier resort in Europe. After a morning of skiing you can take some time off by one of the mountain huts like Les Sonnailles and laze around in the sun.

Families are excellently catered for here, making it an ideal destination for a mountain getaway during the school holidays. Top notch ski schools can look after kids of all ages so parents have the time off to go exploring. Children will have fun learning in safe environments equipped with magic carpet lifts and play areas. The B.K Park and Walibi Gliss snowparks here have been designed specifically with children in mind too for some fun little waves and slaloms to race down. There is also a 4km toboggan run that’s bound to go down a treat! Kids will have a riot playing in the snow or at the indoor fun park in the local sports centre.

Look at our hotels with facilities like swimming pools, saunas and hot tubs to unwind in. Stay in a chalet to enjoy some cosy comforts in traditional alpine accommodation. For a self-catered alternative, apartments are often cheaper and give you the flexibility to cook for yourself or dine in the local restaurants.

Our best packages come with flights and transfers included for a hassle free booking. If you’d like to drive your way over we can sort that as well with our self-drive packages. Call our holiday experts and we’ll help you find the best deal around.
