For those less concerned with luxury and more interested in the skiing then The Griz Inn is a great choice. This great value lodge offers quality rooms, friendly service, a good range of facilities including a pool and hot tub – plus it has an unbeatable ski-in/ski-out location. It’s not the Lizard Creek but for those after great value for money in a prime, door step skiing spot you can’t go wrong with The Griz Inn.

Room Types - bathrooms beds & sleeping

have cable TV, telephone, mini-fridge, coffee maker and bathroom with shower and WC.
Hotel rooms - sleep 2: Comfortable, compact hotel room with one double bed or a queen murphy bed.
One bedroom condo - sleep 2-4: Living area with double sofa bed, TV/VCR, dining area and full kitchen including a dishwasher. Separate bedroom with one queen bed. Bathroom with bath/shower and WC.
Two bedroom condo - sleep 2-6: As per one bedroom suite but with an additional double bedroom.

The Lower Mountain seems tailor made for newbies, with the Mini and Mighty Moose areas easing learners and little ones into the basics, under the tutelage of the excellent Telus Winter Sports School (this is also where you’ll find floodlit skiing on certain evenings). The Griz Bar at the base of the mountain is the place to go after a day on the slopes. Refuel with cold beers and pub grub or ask for their famous “Mogul Smoker” (a magnificent rum and Kahlua concoction).
