The Strass Hotels have everything - a huge array of leisure facilities (including a large pool and a spa area with various saunas and a hot tub), multiple restaurants and three hotel bars including the famous Eisbar après-ski bar.
The Strass is comprised of four interlinked buildings; the Strass and the superior Sport Strass hotels and then the Aparthotel and three-star Garni Strass, which are interconnected to the main building via a glass overhead walkway.
It's very family friendly (kid's menu, kiddie pool, play area and more) and perfect for groups too. If you want a break from the snow, hit up one of the two squash courts or go for a round of table tennis.
If you're hoping to find the perfect hotel for your group right in the centre of Mayrhofen and just a few steps from the Penken Gondola, then look no further - this is it.
This is a fantastic choice for families on holiday - there's so much for everyone here that you'll have a hard time remembering to get out and take advantage of the slopes!
There's an unsupervised children's play area inside and a children's swimming pool just for the little ones. The restaurant features a special kid's menu and there's even baby minding should you need that option.

You'll have quite a lot to choose from with Strass Hotels, so finding a room that suits your needs will be a piece of cake.
The four-star Aparthotel Strass rooms all have satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, a bath or shower and a balcony - these are perfect for couples or trios.
A hot and cold buffet breakfast covers the half board option at Strass Hotels for the first (and most important) meal of the day. In the evening there's a four-course meal with salad buffet for the four-star Sporthotel and Aparthotel guests, while the three-star guests get a matching three-course meal.
There are children's menus for the little ones, and if you get hungry outside of mealtimes, just go to one of the myriad restaurants and bars in the hotel - you have a lot to choose from.
