With the nearest ski lift less than a minute’s walk away, you’ll be out and up the mountain in minutes when you stay at the Sportresort Hohe Salve. The rooms are spacious and each comes with a private balcony, so you can spread out and wake up to the mountain air.

The hotel focusses on the well-being of its guests and brings together activity and relaxation, in its facilities. Whether you’d like to burn off that chocolatey slice of Sachertorte in the gym or forget about your worries in the hotel’s spa – you need to check out the hotel’s the wellness area, Move & Relax. With the help of sports experts, the hotel can create a personal exercise plan for when you’re off the slopes. The local skiing here is best suited to intermediates but with access across the SkiWelt circuit, stronger skiers can cover a lot of mountainside. First-timers are well accommodated on the gentle nursery slopes by the village. If you love cruising the blues, take piste 27 which is a gorgeous, gentle run through the trees.
