The stylish Sporthotel Ellmau has a lot to offer, with an expansive range of leisure facilities and an extremely high standard of accommodation.

Rooms are available in the main hotel and in the annexe, 2 minutes' walk away. The hotel has a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the nursery slopes, ski school and ski lifts.

At the bottom of the nursery slopes, the hotel runs an extremely popular Tyrolean restaurant with bar, the Ellmauer Alm - the perfect place to sit in the sun during the day, to watch the thrills and spills on the surrounding slopes, and to enjoy some of the best après ski in Ellmau.

Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.

The resort has an excellent lift system connecting to the neighbouring villages of Going and Scheffau. It really comes into its own for beginners: children’s lessons take place in ‘Kinderland’ (next to the ski school office on Alte Straße 3) which is kitted out with magic carpets, snow plough area and mini slaloms.
