With sport as its focus, the Alpina is the ideal hotel for your next skiing holiday. It’s a 5-minute walk or quick bus ride to the Gaislachkogel and Giggijoch cable cars, so you’ll be on the mountain in no time. It’s also right in the centre of Sölden, so you can easily explore the town.
You’ll be spoilt for choice come breakfast time. The buffet has hot and cold options so you can tuck into anything that takes your fancy, whether that’s local bacon and eggs, freshly baked bread and pastries or seasonal fruits. And you’re in for a treat in the evening too – expect a 4-course gourmet menu with a salad buffet.
Once you’re off the mountain, there’s no place better to relax than at the Sporthotel Alpina. Feel your worries melt away the moment you enter the relaxation area, and choose from three relaxation baths and unwind in waters of lavender, sage and hay flower aromas. Stretch out your ski legs in the sauna and soothe your muscles in the hot tub – the perfect antidote that’ll get you going for the next day on the slopes.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head-to-head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
