Overview: hotel description: Santa Adventure Week Levi description

Visit a place where there's snow in abundance, peaceful reindeer wandering and, most importantly, where Santa calls his home. Whilst here in Levi, you can take part in 3 exciting and inclusive experiences - an exhilarating ride through the wilderness on your very own snowmobile, a journey through the wintery woodland on a cosy husky sleigh ride and even take a trip the Elves' Secret Hideaway where everyone can get stuck into a range of Christmassy activities and meet the man himself - Santa.

You'll start and end your days in the traditional KRT Cabins, the idyllic scene-setting accommodation for your time in Lapland. Every cabin is wood-panelled, inside and out, and has a cosy log fireplace to add to the atmosphere. All cabins come with a fully-equipped kitchen for you to prepare some tasty meals in and a comfy lounge area so everyone can get together to reminisce about their exciting day. What's more, each cabin has its own private sauna for the grown-ups to relax in.

The cabins themselves are nestled in the Lappish woodland, and are quite a walk away from the shops and restaurants, but if you really don't fancy a long walk then you can always hop on the ski bus into town, which will get you there in no time at all.

Meet Santa at the Elves' Secret Hideaway
Duration 3 hours.
This elvish adventure is fantastic fun for all the family, especially when you get to meet the man himself - Santa. Journey from Levi to the beautiful hideaway village - with a winding river, snow-covered forest and gorgeous themed buildings, it looks like it's been plucked from the pages of a storybook. You'll be free to choose how you spend your time there, from a whole range of Christmassy activities. Go toboganning, kick-sledding or for a reindeer ride. Play elf football or take a snowmobile train ride. Budding artists can have a go at making Christmas decorations or baking gingerbread biscuits - and when you're hungry, you can fry sausages over an open fire or visit the cafeteria to take your pick from the free buffet. This is a truly unique experience that kids and adults alike will talk about for years to come.

Snowmobile safari to the Wilderness
Duration 2 hours.
Ride a snowmobile and admire the snow covered nature of Lapland, through forests and over frozen lakes. The guide will tell you all about the Arctic nature and the safari is great fun for all, young and old, beginners and experienced drivers alike. Enjoy a stop for a break and some warm berry juice before returning to the Safari Club House.

5km Husky safari - a husky trail blazer
Duration 2-3 hours.
The barking of some 100 friendly huskies will welcome you to the husky park. The hosts will then introduce you to the huskies and show you how they just love running and pulling a sledge in sub-zero temperatures. The dogs are then harnessed in to teams so you can enjoy a 5km ride through the snow, followed by delicious sausages cooked over an open fire and some warm drinks before rejoining the coach back to Levi.

On the days where you're not taking part in an activity, you could try downhill skiing, cross-country skiing or one of the many other activities on offer in resort such as a trip to the Snow Village, a visit to the Reindeer Farm or seeing the Northern Lights.

Please note: Days and times of the activities will be confirmed by your rep in resort and will be arranged around any ski/board tuition you have booked.

This holiday is not available for departures on the 3rd January 2017. Holidays departing on this date are considered 'short breaks', meaning that there will not be enough time to complete all the activities included in the price.
