The Sallainen Cabins are modern, semi-detached cabins at the base of the Salla Fell. It's just a short walk to the slopes and each of the cabins has a private sauna to warm up in after a day of skiing.

If you're looking to try some cross country skiing, the trails are right outside. Or for husky rides and reindeer sleigh rides, the Reindeer Park is a few minutes drive away. In the main building, you can get free internet on the guest computer and there's a café and a small gift shop selling Lappish arts and crafts, jewellery and animal hides.

“Tunturi” is the word describing the treeless mountains that make up some of the ski areas in Finland.
