Overview: hotel description: Rocky Pop Hotel description

Have just as much fun at your hotel as you do on the mountain, by choosing the Rocky Pop near Chamonix.

Here, the emphasis is on having fun and sharing experiences in a laid-back atmosphere. In the huge lobby, you can challenge your mates to games, catch up over drinks in the cocktail bar and listen to live music and DJs twice a week. Outside, there are two themed patios – one with a lounge vibe, with a big screen, comfy chairs and table tennis; and one with an open-air café feel, where you can sip drinks under the olive tree.

Mealtimes are anything but typical too. Breakfast may be a fairly normal – albeit delicious – selection of hot and cold goodies, but in the evenings you can take your pick from the three food styles in the modern canteen-style restaurant – will you go for classic French and Savoyard fare, or swap your starter and main for a gourmet burger or fresh crispy pizza? Whatever you choose, you can always make friends over your meal at the huge communal oak tables.

Even customers at the Rocky Pop have to sleep eventually – and the rooms here are contemporary and cosy, with loads of funky touches. Opt for a Rocky Duo room for two, or choose a larger Rocky Mezzanine room with split-level sleeping areas for four people.

The Rocky Pop is in Les Houches, around 5km from Chamonix. But never fear, there’s a local ski bus service to the slopes that stops right outside, and the hotel also runs its own shuttle to Brevent, Flegere, Grands Montets and Le Tour, with two departures each morning and two each afternoon. And at the end of the ski day, you’ll be eager to get back to the Rocky Pop for an evening of fun and laughter.

Please note:

Due to the location, the Chamonix local lift pass is not available from this hotel.
