Petit Chevril (sleeps 6). These lovely properties both form a wonderfully traditional freestanding chalet situated right in the heart of Val d'Isere itself on the main high street. Perfect for smaller groups or perhaps a family, the Petit Chevril is on the first floor and provides lovely comfortable accommodation in original Savoyarde style. The living room has a wonderful open log fire and comfortable sofas in which to enjoy an evening with friends over a few bottles of wine. For larger groups of up to 14 people, it may be worth considering combining both the Petit and Grand Chevrils perhaps?
The resort centre is literally a couple of minutes walk away and the main Solaise/Bellevarde ski lifts are approx 10 minute walk although the local free bus service stops very closeby linking you to either these lifts, Le Fornet for the glacier or even La Daille with its high speed funicular into the heard of the Espace Killy.
The Petit Chevril is run by one of our individually selected chalet hosts who lives out.
Did You Know... The Lac du Chevril is the huge reservoir situated just below Tignes and Val d'Isere, a popular location for many action movies but perhaps most famous for the huge fresco of the Olympian figure Hercules painted on the face of the dam by Jean-Marie Pierret in preparation for the 1992 Winter Olympics held in the region. The feat, by Pierret, took him and eight other painters 60 days to complete.

We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
