Location: where is No. 8 CLUB Bellevarde

Access to the Santons piste is opposite the front door from where you can also walk ten minutes across the nursery slopes to the village centre. A green/blue piste leads a few hundred yards down to the Olympique lift area and ski school meeting point from behind the chalet but our driver service will drop you there if you wish.

Overview: chalet description: No. 8 CLUB Bellevarde description

* Opposite the piste * Private Chef * Indoor pool * Sauna * Hammam * Driver Service * In-house ski hire *

The entrance to No. 8 CLUB Bellevarde, with steps opposite up onto the Santons piste, is discrete and deceiving. Step inside the modest façade and you lose yourself in a huge chalet that cascades down the mountain side over four floors looking onto forest and mountain stream. The front door opens into the stunning open plan living and dining area, comfortably and elegantly furnished with squashy sofas, log fire, vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling windows boasting spectacular views of forest and mountain. You will feel as though you have opened the door to Dr Who's Tardis and been transported to Narnia (excuse the mixed metaphors!) There is a large balcony, ideal for soaking up the afternoon sun.

Just over the road behind our other chalets, a green/blue piste leads a few hundred yards down to the Olympique lift area and ski school meeting point from behind the chalet but our driver service will drop you there if you wish. The ski back to the chalet in the afternoon involves either a red or black piste or short traverse across some unkempt snow fields and so our driver service will pick you up from wherever you end up in Val d'Isere until 6pm if you prefer.

We are thrilled to finally share real pictures of this simply stunning chalet. We weren't exagerating when we said our other chalet photography didn't do justice to the grandeur of the bedrooms, the amazing views and the wonderful indoor pool. The plans don't lie, and the architects amongst you will recognise that the 30 square metres per guest is 20% larger than anything else we operate in the Alps.

The lower three floors are accessed by lift with 7 en suite bedrooms, two of which have additional bunk beds, charged at half the adult price, all have space for a cot and the master bedroom boasts a spectacular in-room bath and dressing room. All the rooms have balconies overlooking the forest and stream. On the lower level you will also find the private indoor swimming pool, sauna and hammam, and for those with energy still to burn after a day on the hill, a small exercise room.

Guests enjoy our CLUB service with a flexible menu plan offering a choice of dishes provided by the Chef and team of dedicated chalet hosts. Relax with a canapé reception every evening but one, breakfast & cleaning every day and most important for many, free beer!

For guests staying in Hameau de Bellevarde chalets we have built our own rental shop to provide a convenient ski & board rental service . Don't forget to pre-book, here are the guide prices.

This package holiday to No. 8 CLUB Bellevarde in Val d'Isere, France departs Tuesday 29th November 2022, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...
