Overview: chalet description: Mont Tremblant description

An exceptional property with outstanding facilities, decor and design. Mont Tremblant epitomises the height of luxurious alpine living. A heated outdoor infinity pool and elevated hot tub add an additional luxury dimension to this already outstanding private home.

Mont Tremblant is a luxurious, modern mountain retreat. The property has been cleverly designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with sumptuous interiors and exceptional facilities. This beautiful six-bedroom chalet is situated within its own grounds, in the heart of Méribel, with breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-cloaked mountains.

The chalet comfortably sleeps 12 guests in six spacious and well-appointed en-suite bedrooms. Each room is decorated with a warm, neutral colour palette and elegant furniture and fabrics. This chalet masterfully combines alpine chic with traditional craftsmanship and natural materials.

The large living space is the heart of Mont Tremblant. The double height ceiling and windows flood the space with natural light and allow for everyone to enjoy the unforgettable mountain views. The living room offers ample space for the whole family to unwind after a day’s skiing and the large central open fireplace is the focal point of the room, a wonderful place to relax with pre-dinner drinks. Set behind the seating area is a cosy snug with a picture window, an ideal spot to relax with a book.

From the living room, you can walk out onto the spacious terrace, where you can enjoy the panoramic south-facing mountain views. Also located on the ground floor is the impressive dining area which is a perfect place for entertaining. The kitchen is separate to the dining room which allows you to enjoy your meals in a relaxed, private setting. There is a large ski room with boot warmers, an office, and a guest toilet on this floor too.

Taking the stairs down to the next floor you will find five of the six bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with separate showers, fireplaces, and TVs. The bedrooms have been carefully designed for maximum comfort, ensuring that you start each day feeling refreshed and ready for the slopes. You will also find the games/TV room on this floor, an ideal space for entertaining all ages with Sky, Apple TV, Play Station, a darts board, a bar, and a pool table. Adjacent to this room is a play room, ideal for younger family members, with table football, TV, Wii, toys and games.

Outside on the lower terrace you will find a raised hot tub as well as the spectacular heated infinity pool complete with jet streams so that you can enjoy incredible views while you gently unwind and stretch your muscles. The wellness area also includes a hammam, a massage treatment room, and a shower.

The top floor is dedicated to the stunning master bedroom suite which has been positioned to take full advantage of the natural surroundings. The open fire and mixture of natural wooden beams emphasises this chalet\'s beauty. The en-suite bathroom has a large double bath and walk-in rain shower. This accommodation only holiday to Mont Tremblant in Meribel & Mottaret, France departs Sunday 31st March 2024, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made, and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A traditional alpine village with choc-box chale...
Meribel is one of the best ski resorts to learn in. There are three beginner areas known as 'Ski Facile' (easy ski) plus great green pistes to practise on including Le Foret and Altiport. Both runs are carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings. If you're skiing with children, there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees at the 'Pistes des Animaux' where children can learn about local wildlife as they e...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes can be as varied as the day spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It's said that you haven't experienced après ski here (or anywhere for that matter) until you've sampled toffee vodka in Le Rond Point, which is easily one of the most famous après ski bars in the world - complete with a slide down to the toilets! Meribel's rightly famous for its nightl...
