Location - where is Little Zebra

Six minutes stroll from the centre of Meribel, two minutes walk to the infamous O’Sullivans (Dick’s T- Bar of late). The pistes at La Chaudanne are two minutes away by our Merishuttle chauffeur service.

Overview - chalet description - Little Zebra description

This wonderful little chalet is a lovely little hideaway for a small group of friends and offers a great deal of privacy. A freestanding chalet over two floors, the open plan living/dining space is generous for four, and the patio doors open out onto your own terrace with private hot tub and delightful views. Upstairs there is one double en suite bedroom, a twin bedroom, both with a huge shared balcony, and a separate shower room.

The décor is smart and contemporary and we have thrown in a few toys as well, with wall mounted TVs in the bedrooms and some decent sounds in the living room.

  • A choice of red and white wine is served throughout dinner
We update Little Zebra's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A trad alpine village with choc-box chalets, th...
With three beginner areas known as ‘Zen Zones' plus some good greens to practice on including Le Foret, Altiport and the Cool Moon area (carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings), Meribel's one of the best ski resorts to learn in. If you're skiing with little ones there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees. Moon Wild is a special area where children can learn about local wildlife as they enjoy the s...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes will be as varied as the days spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It’s said that you haven't experienced après ski here until you've sampled toffee vodka... We say the only real “must do” is Le Rond Point, which is perhaps the most famous après ski bar in the world. Meribel is rightly famous for its night life with a variety of pubs, bars and clu...

"Family fun in Meribel"

We had a wonderful stay in Meribel this week. Arriving to a brown landscape without snow which quickly turned white over the next 3 days. We really enjoyed our time on the slopes and down time in the little Zebra chalet was also really nice. Our chalet host Patrick was a delight – very friendly and engaging. He had a big task feeding the four of us which included a very fussy vegetarian. The quality of the food he prepared each night was amazing. Highlights were the duck and the fish pie and not to forget the blondie for afternoon tea. On the negative – the chalet upstairs, especially the 2 bedrooms were a little cramped and incredibly hot even with the heaters turned off. Downstairs there was a lack of privacy due to large glass doors which looked out onto the shared bootroom and Zebra chalet meant other guests being able to see in whenever they wanted due to lack of window treatments. All of the drivers and staff we encountered over the week were very cheery and friendly and a credit to the company.

"Amazing chalet with an amazing host"

Little zebra is a beautifully decorated modern chalet with amazing views. Helen the host made fantastic first class food, well judged portions and effortlessly catered for dietary requirements. The best food we have had in 7 years of catered ski holidays. We all slept really well with very comfortable beds in both rooms, bedding is of a high quality. Nice touch was also the nespresso machine and the cups of tea in the morning. The hot tub was situated with amazing views of the mountains – nice to come back to after a hard day on the slopes. Great friendly service from the driving team, a very convenient luxury even though the chalet isn’t far from the village. The only thing that could be improved is the seating arrangements in the lounge. Currently 2 people can sit comfortably on the sofa and there are 2 chairs, these would be better replaced with another sofa.
