Overview: hotel description: Hotel Club Les Mélèzes, Arc 2000 description

In the centre of Arc 2000, and just a few minutes’ walk from the lifts, Les Mélèzes is a great pick for a stay in Les Arcs. And it’s got fab facilities too. Kids will have a blast in the hotel run clubs, whilst adults can unwind in the spa with a dip in the hot tub or trip to the sauna. Or, sit back and relax with a drink on the hotel terrace.

There's an old-school feel from top to bottom, with wood panelling and stone pillars. The rooms fit with this theme too, but are slightly more modern. The kids' club has brightly coloured, themed rooms with plenty of activities, and there’s even a room just for teens to socialise in – the Squ@t.

Tuck into a buffet breakfast each morning with a view of Mont Blanc – the perfect way to start a day on the slopes. Dinners also included here and is served buffet style. And, once a week there’s a Savoyard dinner with cheesy favourites like fondue and raclette. If you fancy it, you can upgrade to full board to have lunch included too.

Local instructors are on hand to show you the ropes, with ski schools based in each of the main villages (1800 has the most). There are magic carpet lifts at 1800 and 2000 - an easy way for newbies to get up ...
If you're looking for a party, Arc 1800 is the place to be. With heaps of watering holes like the Red Hot Saloon (or the 'Red Bar' to use local lingo), Benji's and La Folie Douce. If you're looking for more of a French-style après spot, Ambiente Cafe has a really cool atmosphere and lots of nice cocktails (happy hour usually starts at 4) while Le club 1950 your venue if you're looking to party into the wee hours. Arc 1600's a little quieter but for good music and a scenic terrace check out Les 2 Têtes. In te...
