Arc 1950 is a self contained village just below Arc 2000 and connected by a quick and easy gondola. The village comprises 8 residences, beautifully designed and with spacious condo style apartments, all finished to a very high standard. The area is traffic free and there is a good selection of restaurants, shops, and bars. Each pair of residences has access to their own leisure facilities including an outdoor heated pool, jacuzzi and fitness room, which are free to use. There is a new ‘Cinq Mondes’ Spa (local entry charge) which has an indoor swimming pool and where massage and beauty treatments are available.
These apartments give families a self-catering option with the chance to add on day time childcare
Parents are asked to meet the Snow Rangers at the designated Meeting Point with the usual signing-in and signing-out procedures. Please note that Cocoa Clubs are not available.
We have led the childcare concept for UK families on skiing holidays for the last 35 years and our programme is constantly reviewed and refined, with previous guest feedback always the key element in further enhancing the experience.
For parents, Classic Childcare means being able to leave your accommodation after breakfast to head for the first lifts, only needing to return after the last one shuts. We look after your children completely throughout the ski day if you wish.
While the babies and toddlers go to our Nursery, staff take the older ones to our partner ski-school, collect them, give them lunch, run activities to keep them happy and stimulated and then take them back to their chalets for their high tea, giving you our super-convenient ‘Seamless Service’ throughout the day.All apartments have fully equipped kitchen with ceramic cooking hob, oven or microwave, fridge and dishwasher, bathroom, wc, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, safe and balcony or terrace.
