The Landhaus Mödlinger has been in the Mödlinger family for generations. It sits next door to the Hotel Franzlhof and is made up of six charming rooms above a milking barn, part of the working farm that has been providing the family and their guests with delicious fresh produce, milk and meats since the 1700s.
You'll get a real glimpse of authentic rural Austrian life here, as well as enjoying all of the facilities and meals from the neighbouring four-star Franzlhof hotel. It's a great way to benefit from superb facilities without the added expense.
Official rating: ***
Restaurant, bar and café (at the Hotel Franzlhof next door)
Free use of sauna and steam room (at the Hotel Franzlhof next door)
Heated boot rack at the Franzlhof or un-heated storage at the Landhaus
With only six rooms, it's a small and cosy place to stay. Being above a milking barn gives you plenty of original 1700s rustic style and charm.
Each room can sleep two people in a comfy Austrian twin bed. You also have a balcony to enjoy the views plus an ensuite bathroom with a shower and wc.
You're on half board here, but all of your meals are taken in the four-star Hotel Franzlhof next door (about 50m away).
Start your day with a good continental breakfast then come back to a gorgeous four-course evening meal including soup, salad, a choice of main (veggie or non) and dessert. Your Christmas and New Year Gala meals are also included.

The heart of the SkiWelt area, Söll is a traditional and animated village at the foot of the Hohe Salve Mountain, looking out to the rugged Wilder Kaiser massif.
