Overview: hotel description: Iso-Syöte Cabins description

Located in a secluded spot away from the main resort, these cabins are a winter wonderland retreat. They’re clustered together to make a peaceful little area called Hulhava, which is 15 minutes’ walk from the slopes and resort centre.

The cabins themselves are decked out with pine cladding, log walls and stone fireplaces, with Scandinavian-inspired features like pelts and antlers on the walls. The kitchens are fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay, and there’s even a handy dishwasher. The nearest supermarket is 15 minutes’ walk away so you can grab any supplies you need. Don’t fancy cooking? Upgrade to breakfast-only, dinner-only or half board and enjoy your meals in the Tuba Food & Lounge restaurant at the Hotel Kide, a 13-minute walk away.

After dinner, head back to your cosy cabin and relax in your private sauna. Or with your free bag of wood, add a few logs to the fire and snuggle up with a hot drink.

The Panorama restaurant in Hotel Iso Syote is one of the most popular eateries in the resort, with high quality dishes accompanied by amazing views of the surroundings. It’s attached to the Panorama Bar where you can enjoy live music and a disco that stays open into the early hours. The Snapsibaari shot bar has a DJ and regular theme and karaoke nights and is open Fridays and Saturdays in the winter season. We love the pizzas at Pärjänkievari (the steaks are super too).
