Overview: hotel description: Hyatt Centric La Rosière description

Want to sleep on a brand-new pillow? Dream of eating off of never-been-used-before plates? Well, we have just the thing – the luxurious and newly built Hyatt Centric La Rosière.

Renowned hotel chain, Hyatt Centric, with properties in New York and Hawaii, debuts its first ever mountain hotel in the French Alps. It’s got ski-in, ski-out access to the brilliant Espace San Bernardo – that spans both France and Italy – and is only minutes from the shops, bars and restaurants of Les Eucherts and little La Rosière.

The 69 rustic guestrooms are decked out in sophisticated greys, dark woods and tasteful feature walls, and even feature fancy Nespresso coffee machines. You’re also guaranteed breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, whatever part of the hotel you’re in.

Whether you’ve spent all day on the slopes, or simply had a stroll around the shops, you still deserve a little pampering. As well as the Summit Spa, with its three treatment rooms and yoga classes, the Hyatt Centric is home to a tranquil indoor pool, a sauna and steam room and three hot tubs - two inside and one out. The latter is highly recommended during a snow fall or on a bluebird day – which, enjoying the same number of sunshine hours as St Tropez, isn’t a rarity in La Rosière.

When it comes to the all-important taste test, Hyatt Centric’s got you sorted. The H40 restaurant is the venue for half-board meals, offering a mountain-style buffet each morning and French brasserie-style food in the evening. What’s more, all of their wines only originate from mountainous regions – think France, Austria, South Africa and New Zealand.

La Tavola, on the other hand, is a casual Italian trattoria, serving up organic and healthy specialities inspired by the Aosta region. Once your tummy is full, head over to the H40 bar for a Belgian beer or to the quaint Surus Bar, which features Chesterfield-style sofas and rums from around the world.
