A stay here is simply luxurious. Its slopeside setting provides complete convenience and uninterrupted views of the mountains, particularly from the outdoor heated (30oC) swimming pool. The style is very mountain contemporary; lots of massive wooden beams supported by beautiful local stone for a very earthy feel.
The Village Montana boasts an impressive range of facilities too, including the gorgeous Les Bains du Montana spa, a free children's club on selected weeks, three restaurants and two bars. You're pretty spoilt for choice here!
For a bit of après-ski chill-out time for everyone, there's a free mini-club for children aged 3 to 10. It runs daily from 5.30pm to 9pm on selected weeks with a mix of French and English spoken in the club. A perfect opportunity the head to the spa or the bar.
Room and laundry service
Free use of spa and wellness area
Free children's club
Free Wi-Fi throughout
Heated ski lockers
Les Bains du Montana spa is well worth a visit. Make sure you get good use of the free heated Nordic swimming-pool (30°C), sauna, steam room, hot tub, relaxation room and herbal tea facilities.
It's the perfect way to ease those ski legs. And seeing as you're on holiday, why not splash out on some beauty treatments or a massage too? Spa facilities are reserved for guests over 15 years old. Under 15's may use the pool only.
All 79 rooms are beautifully furnished, large and airy with a traditional local style mixed with a modern touch. Each comes with a balcony, free Wi-Fi, flatscreen satellite TV, an ensuite with bath, hairdryer, heated towel rail, dressing gown and slippers and separate wc.
The balconies provide incredible views and are a real treat to wake up to each morning (when it's not snowing!).
The half board meals here are extensive, as you'd expect. A breakfast buffet offers hot and cold options and your five-course evening meal is served in Les Chanterelles restaurant.
Alternatively you can choose to dine in one of the three additional restaurants at the hotel for a supplement.

Tignes is somewhere you can ski longer, higher and further than most other resorts in the Alps. Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here. Choose between 5 different villages, whether your priority is convenience, cosiness or cheap accommodation. Tignes also has one of the most famous New Year parties in the Alps.
