Hotel Tott is a ski in, ski out hotel just above the resort of Åre in Sweden.

Overview: hotel description: Hotel Tott description

Meal Basis: Bed & Breakfast
The Hotel Tott is a wonderfully contemporary and stylish 4* hotel, situated in a ski in, ski out position above the resort of Åre in Sweden, 5 minutes walk from the tram or around 15-20 minutes walk to the centre and conveniently next to the ski lift. To return to the hotel from the slopes, it can only be accessed by a red run therefore will best suit skiers of intermediate ability and perhaps less so, beginners.
Amazing panoramic views extend across the village and lake and can be enjoyed from the hotel, while a great range of activities are on offer during your stay, including a selection of sports and spa facilities. We offer short breaks and week-long holidays in this hotel.
The hotel has 174 rooms and suites, the most affordable being the economy and standard bedrooms. These feature either a double or twin beds, flat-screen cable TV, sound system, minibar, free Wi-Fi, private bathroom with shower and WC, kitchenette with fridge and breakfast bar.
A generous buffet breakfast is included with your package, ideal for setting you up for a day on the slopes. For evening meals you can dine out down in Åre or alternatively there's the hotel's Cute Grill & Bar, which serves up fantastic local cuisine including grilled meats.
For après-ski, the hotel bar is extremely popular and a great place to enjoy a few beers with an international ambience.
The spa and swimming pool area is free to hotel guests and offers perfect relaxation after a day on the slopes. Facilities include a large swimming pool, two Jacuzzis, a spa, gym and sauna, all with a lovely view through the panoramic windows down to the Åre. It is also possible to buy drinks and snacks in the bar and reception area next to the pool.

Excellent snow record Chic village base Big ski area for N. Europe

As one of Scandinavia’s biggest ski areas, this place has incredible offerings for families (and everyone else for that matter), with a trendy and relaxed village to come home to at the end of the day. Reindeer roam the forests and the northern lights sometimes appear at night. We love this part of the world.

People describe Åre (pronounce it ‘Aw-ra’) as a pint sized version of a big city – there are oodles of restaurants, shops and the like surrounding the main square, but you still get that cosy feel that Scandi mountain villages are loved for. Life here’s a lot more laid back than you find in the bigger European resorts – despite being Sweden’s biggest and best place to ski, everything stays wonderfully smart and unhurried. Accommodation is spread across a number of different bases. Åre By (at th...
There are three ski areas, Åre Village, Björnen and Duved. The first two are lift linked, while the third can be reached by ski bus. Åre Village has Northern Europe’s biggest vertical drop, with a fine mix of runs streaming down the Åreskutan mountain into the village centre. The ski school meets in Rödkullen, which is also home to the snow park with its various rail lines and a smaller park for children. Above it, Ullådalen has a gentle green and blue. From the top of the Åreskutan, red runs meet b...
Bygget’s been one of the biggest party spots here for decades, with a stage for live music events, dance floors and SIX bars. The club runs Veranda which is a spot for more traditional après ski, also with live bands and an electric atmosphere. Timmerstugan’s another good ‘un – a handy place to meet up for drinks and snacks by the gondola base station. The Creperie & Logi is one of our favourite post-ski pit stops in these parts, where we could feast on the cheesy galettes and chocolatey crepes all day...
