It’s a case of modern meets traditional when it comes to the Postwirt. The rooms have a fresh alpine feel, with lots of light wood and splashes of bright colour. And as for the service, it’s all about classic Austrian hospitality, from the friendly staff to the delicious Tyrolean food. It's right in the centre of Söll, and you’re just a few steps from the bars and shops. When it’s time to hit the slopes, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Hochsöll gondola and ski school meeting point. Or you can make the most of the free resort shuttle and save your legs for the hill.

Back at the hotel, it's all about relaxing after a day on the mountain. Take your après R&R to the next level in the hotel's PanoramaSpa, which has an outdoor infinity pool up on the roof. Soak up views from the steaming water then stretch out in the sauna to recharge the legs. There's also a shallower pool where little ones can paddle, and for an some extra post-piste pampering, how about a massage?

Mealtimes are a treat here too, with the locally sourced produce the star of the show. Start things off with a breakfast buffet filled with everything from cakes and pastries to smoked lake trout and local cheeses. Then in the afternoon, there’ll be snacks to nibble on until it’s time for your 4-course evening meal.
