Overview: hotel description: Hotel Monzoni description

Named after the Monzoni mountain range above it, this place is a great pick in Pozza di Fassa. Jump on the ski bus or take a 16-minute walk to the gondola to start your day on the slopes, then head back later to wind things down with a drink in the hotel bar or a swim in the pool. And there's a play area for the kids too.

The inside's got a modern-meets-traditional Italian feel – picture wood-panelled ceilings and chandeliers mixed with light, open spaces and splashes of bright colour. The finishing touch is the big windows in the restaurant that let in those mountain views.

Speaking of the restaurant, it's the place to be for buffet spreads each morning and evening. And if you're there over Christmas or New Year, you can look forward to gala meals those nights.
