The Hotel Maria Theresia is an impressive 4* Kitzbuehel hotel, located in a historic building in a fantastic part of the old part of town, just 5 minutes walk from the Hahnenkamm slopes and ski lifts and right in the heart of the action.
The location couldn't be better for easy access to the slopes while staying in this famous and charming town. If you're lucky enough to get a room during the World Cup skiing, usually in January, make sure you snap it up as it's a party you should experience at least once!
The hotel has an excellent reputation for its food, therefore you'll be hosted on a half-board basis. Breakfast each day is a superb buffet including cereals, pastries, hot and cold items plus fresh organic produce. Dinner is an impressive 4-course meal where international cuisine plus regional Tyrolean specialties feature on daily-changing menus.
The Maria Theresia offers 71 rooms defined by the categories S, M and L, each type offering slightly different levels of size and comfort. Standard rooms (S) are traditionally furnished and have an Austrian twin bed, ensuite shower room with WC, TV, free Wi-Fi. Trendy Alpine Superior double rooms (M) have an Austrian twin bed, a more spacious and have a bathroom with bath, a comfortable seating area and a balcony. Modern junior suites (L) are bigger still and offer a cozy sitting area, bathroom with bath, and a spacious balcony overlooking the Hahnenkamm.
The hotel has further facilities which include a very comfortable lounge and bar area with sofas to kick back in and try a cocktail, there's a modern spa with various saunas and a steam room. Further pampering in the form of beauty treatments and massages are bookable (and payable) at the hotel.
