Overview: hotel description: Hotel Les Suites du Montana description

Top-notch services- Perhaps the only thing matching the quality of the views and the location is the level of services and facilities available in this 5-star hotel. A concierge service is on hand should you need any assistance during the stay and the valet service can help out those who have self-driven. Covered parking is available, as are laundry services. Individual ski lockers with boot dryers are available for all guests.

Spa and wellness- As you would expect, the hotel Spa “Les Bains du Montana” is set up to give a second to none experience for all those looking to relax and recover. You’ll have the sauna, hammam and indoor pool at your disposal, as well as a fitness room to get the ski legs going.

Ski-in/Ski-out- You can step onto the slopes from just outside the door, providing ultimate access to the Val d’Isere/ Tignes ski area. You’ll just need to take one bubble up from Tignes Le Lac in order to ski all the way down to Val d’Isere, and only a couple of lifts are needed to take you back after you’ve finished exploring. If you’re sticking around Tignes for the day or looking for a good warm-up, jump on the Palafour lift to get a good long run in that works its way back to Tignes Le Lac.

Espace Killy ski area Fantastic après ski High altitude skiing

Tignes is somewhere you can ski longer, higher and further than most other resorts in the Alps. Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here. Choose between 5 different villages, whether your priority is convenience, cosiness or cheap accommodation. Tignes also has one of the most famous New Year parties in the Alps.

Tignes ski resort (pronounce it 'Teens') is one half of the stunning Espace Killy, one of the biggest linked ski areas in France. Because of its high-altitude terrain and access to the Grande Motte glacier, the resort is open both earlier and later in the season than many others and often the lifts are running for short periods of summer skiing. Predominantly purpose built, the resort itself is divided into 5 villages, each different in its own way but all well linked by lifts and bus services. The main area...
With varied pistes at a high altitude, the ski area has impressive powdered terrain for skiers and boarders alike. Beginners can practice on the nursery slopes at Le Lac and Le Lavachet, where you'll find gentle, quiet runs that are accessible via free beginners' lifts. Le Bollin at Val Claret is another conveniently situated green and Grattalu is a lovely wide blue for those wanting to build confidence. Tignes is incredible if you ski at an intermediate level, with miles of powdery blue and red runs includi...
While it's said that those who appreciate Tignes do so for the serious skiing over the après ski, this doesn't do justice to the fact that Tignes' 60+ bars/pubs and 4 night clubs provide some of the best nightlife in the Alps. All villages have their fair share of places to eat and drink, and with a shuttle bus service running 24 hours, you can enjoy your evening without worrying about the journey back. Jam bar is small but with a great atmosphere and Loop bar pretty much offers it all: with live sport, world c...
