The hotel is really nice, the food was good (a mixture of French and other stuff). Rooms were small and basic but that’s ski holidays for you. The hotel has a bar area but we didn’t use it so I can’t comment on that! Location is perfect as you’re right on the slopes. + more

Location: where is Hotel Le Val Chavière

  • Ski in/ski out location with the ski lifts and ski school meeting place just opposite. The hotel is next to the Pionniers chiarlift. It has an excellent central location in Val Thorens within a couple of minutes' walk of bars and shops. Our partner ski hire shop is just a minute's walk (100m).

Run by the charming Garcin family, the Val Chavière is one of our most popular hotels, offering a very warm welcome and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a superb ski-in/out location. The hotel is deservedly popular with our guests and is excellent value. In particular, the quality and quantity of the food served is often singled out for praise and the reason that many return to this hotel.

Half board is available with a buffet breakfast and excellent 5 course set evening meals. A regional fondue is served on on Thursdays. Christmas and New Year gala dinners are included.
