Mountain feeling - In this lovely little gem the rooms are simple, very comfortable, bright, airy and spacious, they maintain that traditional alpine atmosphere typical of the Viel Alpe area of Alpe d’Huez and nicely reflected in their rustic décor. The rooms have quadruple glazing, so no noise worries, most ones have en-suite facilities, often south-facing and many offer a balcony with panoramic views.

The place to be - Le Chamois is small and intimate enough to ensure that special and chilled out vibe in every part of the hotel, from the bustling, renowned and top-ranked Underground Bar, the perfect meeting point where to share stories at après and also enjoy live music in the evening, to the friendly and convivial restaurant serving great food. Breakfast– Nothing is better than a healthy breakfast, available every day from the rich buffet including hot & cold and sweet & savoury options, to get ready for a day on the slopes in Alpe d’Huez.Dinner– The half-board evening meal, consists of three courses offering a variety throughout the week. The chalet hotel Le Chamois serves dinner for 6 nights each week, leaving one night off.The hotel is able to cater for dietary requirements with notice, please ask. Packed lunches are also available on request to take with you on the mountain.
